When Sheena reached out to me for family photos (last year, I know I'm behind on blogging!) I was so excited! I don't typically do newborn sessions but this was more of a lifestyle approach outside so I was on board and eager to get up to the beautiful little town of Cashmere, Washington. My Dad grew up in Cashmere and fun fact about me - I actually spent my senior year of high school in Cashmere. More on that maybe someday!
I pulled into their drive and instantly knew it was going to be a beautiful session in this beautiful Cashmere Orchard setting.
Sheena had just had little Jaylen Rose and was adjusting to life as a new mama. It's so overwhelming but all I remember is how calm she was and how motherhood looked so effortless on her. I still feel those feelings when I see all the updated pictures on Facebook. I can't believe how big Jaylen is now (it's amazing how much changes in such a short time with little ones!) She's absolutely beautiful, and so are her parents! Ejay was a trooper for the session, too! These two followed instruction beautifully and their love for each other and their beautiful little girl is evident in the pictures you are about to see!
Thank you for letting me into your lives for this short little time to capture these precious memories for you, Davis Family! These are still some of my favorite images I've ever taken. I get chills seeing pictures of women becoming mothers and embracing all the changes that come with it... Sheena you are radiant and I'm just so happy for you and Ejay!
