I don't know if you know this, but I live right on the Willapa Bay in South Bend, Washington. Our area is so beautiful! While I find myself shooting outside 95% of the time, you can also find me inside with clients for lifestyle photo sessions! These are some of my absolute favorite sessions to photograph. There is something so intimate, relaxing, and beautiful about capturing a family in the space that they are the most comfortable, their own homes. When Jon contacted me about family pictures I jumped at the opportunity knowing how absolutely adorable and sweet his little family is! His wife, Megan is just darling, and wait until you see their girls!
This stunning pacific northwest home had me swooning as a photographer!
If you follow along with me, you know that I love the light and airy style of photography! I'm able to achieve this with the right light, and wardrobe selections from my clients! I'm a fan of simple and neutral. I'd never been to the Tienhaara's family home but right when I pulled up the drive and saw all the windows I knew it was going to be amazing. Their home is how I envision our forever home someday when we build out on the ranch. Gorgeous old wood floors, neutral walls, and pops of wood and color throughout. I'm in love with their house and hope to shoot here again someday with them as the girls continue to grow!
Jon works with my Mother in Law at the school, he's the superintendent. Riley and I like to walk down the street to visit Grandma at work from time to time and when we do, she now goes straight to Jon's office first because he always has treats stashed in his desk drawer! She doesn't even acknowledge Grandma anymore until she's had her visit to Jon's office! It is hilarious. She's so spoiled! Then she usually runs laps screaming happy screams until we leave. Have I ever told you how much I'm learning to love this small town way of life? I love that while we live in our current home, I will get to walk Riley to school every single day. I love this community of South Bend which is known as The Oyster Capital of the World. I didn't fully appreciate what this place has to offer when we first moved here over a year ago, but now I can't imagine us anywhere else raising our family.
I hope you love these pictures as much as I do! Thank you, Jon and Megan for letting me in to your home to document these precious moments of your darling little family.

Hello, beautiful visitor! My name is Emma and I am so pleased to have you here. Some time ago, I left the security of a career in accounting to risk it all on a dream of working for myself... And I’ve never looked back since.
Emma Rose Company was launched as a non-traditional approach to helping others tell their own stories in new and memorable ways: whether that means developing a brand package for a new business concept or building a plan to help you document your special day.
More than anything else, I want to be here to support the grand adventure that is you. It’s so nice to meet you; let’s get started.
