You don't have to do everything.
That includes editing. I can relate to feeling like there is so much to do but not enough YOU to do it so that's where I step in to help. Some photographers I've met along the way dread the editing process but I'll let you in on a little secret...I love it! Editing and bringing images to life is one of my passions as a fine art photographer. Yes, I love the connections I get to make with my clients and building relationships while out shooting, but I can't deny my love affair with the editing process from culling to fine tuning each image.
I use Mastin Labs presets (Fuji & Illford) to achieve consistent film emulation - with or without actual film to match.
Color/Exposure Correction - $0.30/image - Includes color matching using your preset of choice (Illford or Fuji), white balance, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites/blacks, split toning, lens correction, sharpening, and a portion in black and white available upon request. $50 minimum order.
Culling - $50/portrait gallery & $100/wedding gallery
Film Emulation - $0.35/image - Send me your film scans in a link or in your smart previews catalog in Lightroom and I will match your digital scans to them using the scans as anchor photos.
Turn around time for sessions is 4-5 business days and wedding turn around time is 8-10 business days.
Smart Preview Catalogs:
Please send your weddings or sessions as a Lightroom Smart Catalog and upload them via Dropbox or a zip file using gmail’s Google Drive. I’ll invoice you once I’ve received the wedding, using 17hats.
To send me the smart previews catalog you will need to:
- Import your photos into Lightroom CC
- Go to File > Export folder as catalog > Save As (Your Company_ Bride/Groom Last Name)
- > check Build/include smart previews > UNCHECK Export negative files > Export Catalog.
- (The only one that should be checked is "Build/Include Smart Preview")
*Note that you will need to send me the entire folder with the catalog itself, along with the smart previews in it, otherwise it will not open properly.*
You can then either add this folder to your Dropbox account if you have one and put the link in the order form, or put a link to the wedding using google drive. If you have film scans, I recommend you include them in the catalog so I can match them. If you don't have film for the wedding or session, you can always edit 20 or so within the catalog to give me an idea of what you're looking for with your edits.
