Hampton Hideaway Wenatchee, Washington | Rustic Blush Wedding in the Mountains | Shannon and Anthony

I had the pleasure of meeting Shannon this past winter in Wenatchee at the NCW Bridal Premier!  The first thing I noticed about Shannon was her bubbly personality and smile!  I made a list at this wedding show of the names of brides I met who I really had a connection with and Shannon was on that list!  We hit it off right away and I crossed my fingers she would get in touch with me once she talked everything over with Anthony!

They booked me for their summer wedding in Wenatchee at Hampton Hideaway!

I was so excited!  I'd never shot at this venue but the minute I pulled up the long drive I knew it was my scene and we were going to have a blast!  The white barn immediately drew me in along with the orchards, green fields, and overall aesthetic of the whole place.  I love shooting somewhere that I can get so many different "scenes" without needing to go very far!

I started the morning by picking up all the details in East Wenatchee where Shannon and her girls were getting ready.  It worked out best for us to do it this way because I always spend the first hour with the details before I even start on any portraits!  I met the owner at Hampton Hideaway, Katie!  She's lovely and I'd actually met her at the Bridal Show because her booth was right next to mine!  I went to high school with her and her sister in Wenatchee.

The mix and match bridesmaid style has me swooning as a photographer!

I have never liked matchy-matchy but I absolutely LOVE mix and match bridesmaids dresses!  I think it breaks up the colors which is nice and it also allows your bridesmaids to find a dress that THEY FEEL GOOD IN.  It's a long day to be in a dress during a wedding so if you can find one that is comfortable and beautiful that's a win-win!

Shannon and Anthony's Hampton Hideaway Wedding was a fairytale and I'm honored to have been included in the celebration.

Words can't begin to express how grateful I truly am to have been included in their special day.  These two are the real deal and I could feel it all day long watching the interactions happening around me all day.  Shannon and Anthony, I hope you love these images as much as I loved taking them!  I wish you both nothing but the very best and loved getting to be part of your first day as Husband and Wife!  I cannot wait for you to see everything!
