HOW DO I BOOK?
To reserve your date, I simply need a signed contract and 50% of package price non-refundable retainer. If your wedding requires travel, I will also need the expenses paid at the time of booking to ensure travel costs are as quoted. Unfortunately I cannot hold any dates without the signed contract, retainer, and any travel fees.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
I currently reside in South Bend, WA, USA with my amazing husband Shaun and our daughter Riley. I've always called the Pacific Northwest my home and love everything about this area.
DO YOU BRING A SECOND SHOOTER?
All but one of my package come with two photographers. Having a second photographer is a great way to get additional coverage on your wedding day, especially if logistics dictate photographs being needed at two places at once. A second photographer is also a great asset in helping document extra detail photos and can help focus on moments from the perspective of family members and friends.
CAN I SEE A FULL GALLERY OF A WEDDING?
YES YES YES. What I show on my social media and website isn't always a full representation of an entire wedding day. I'd love nothing more for you to look through a few full galleries of weddings that I've delivered to clients recently. Having a really good idea of what your photographs will look like from an entire wedding day is incredibly important. You can view my full galleries here.
WHO HAS COPYRIGHT?
While I'll retain the copyright of the images from your wedding day, my contract gives personal print and media permissions to my clients for any non-commercial usage. If you have any concerns about privacy, please let me know.
CAN YOU MEET BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY?
Establishing a great connection with my clients is paramount to being able to capture amazing photographs, so having some sort of contact beyond email is a prerequisite before booking me as your photographer. I want to make sure you're 100% confident that I'm the right photographer for you and that you'll feel comfortable having me around on such a monumental day in your life.
HOW AND WHEN DO WE BOOK OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
I believe in the importance of an engagement session with all of my couples! It is a great way for us to get to know each other before the big day and for you to get comfortable with how I work and what to expect come your wedding day! Because my weekends are full most of the time, I schedule all my engagement sessions during the week and about 6 months prior to your wedding day.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
Absolutely. Travel is one of my passions and allows me to experience new places and cultures that I wouldn't be able to otherwise.
WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE FOR TRAVEL?
I do charge a travel fee of $500 for interstate weddings and $1000 for international weddings in addition to the actual expenses for time spent away from my family and as a buffer for any unexpected expenses that might come up. For travel on the American West Coast, I require two nights accommodation in addition to transportation. For the East Coast, I require three nights, and four nights for international weddings/elopements.
